Estimator for Building Construction Projects, stairs, railings, and structural steel fabrication. We have an opening for Estimator Must have shop knowledge of stairs, railings, structural fabrication, labor and materials.

The Estimator responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, specifications, doing takeoffs, RFQs, and other documentation to prepare pricing for customer orders and RFQs. Review data to determine material and labor requirements. Understand the steps in estimating from blue print to final production. Consult with customers, vendors, potential customers, and other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and/or resolve issues. Be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with clients. Review POs, new prints, and re-price existing jobs.

Qualifications: Read and interpret documents such as instructions, blue prints and purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in stair, railing and structural steel fabrication and estimating. Have experience with computers and the ability to learn and understand internal programs for pricing. Have excellent telephone and customer service skills. Communicate effectively with customers or employees of the organization. Experience in AutoCAD and Tekla EPM Preferred Technical degree in construction management or experience in stairs, railings and structural steel fabrication 4 year college degree preferred. Write routine reports and correspondence.
